Latitude Maps

Is there a website that can teach me longitude and latitude?

I need to know for school in a few hours and i dont know how to measure longitude and latitude on a world map.....can someone please help me??? thanks. jen

1. This is a very good website: http://www.lakelandsd.com/tutorial/lesson1.html You can go to the very bottom, and click: Next Lesson. (In general, the way to figure out longitude and latitude lines on a world map, is to first off basically know that longitude lines are the vertical ones, and latitude go horizontal. Longitude is measured as East and West, or as E or W, East and west of Prime Meridian on the map. The latitude is measured as North and South, or N and S, North and South of the equator.)
2. http://www-istp.gsfc.nasa.gov/stargaze/Slatlong.htm A simple way to remember lat/long and what they measure is: Latitude lines run east and west, but measure north and south. Longitude lines run north and south, but measure east and west.
